Logical Fallacies
A logical fallacy is a statement that appears to be valid until one applies some logical rules. Then, they may realize that the idea is not right. People often use logical fallacies to mislead others or trick them into believing something they otherwise would not. For example, a friend tried to persuade me that all philosophy classes are challenging using a hasty generalization.
