Mystery of the Church of Christ
In the first chapter, the author seeks to show the nature of God in relation to the Church of Christ. In the first paragraph, we can learn that human beings were created to live in this world and they are supposed to participate actively in the divine plan of God for the world. However, due to the fall of Adam and Eve, human beings were alienated from God’s plan. It is at this point that we learn more about the fall of our first parents who were Adam and Eve. Adam and Eve sinned in the Garden of Eden and they were chased out of the garden. I do think that when Adam and Eve were chased out of Eden it can also be used to symbolize the alienation of the people of God from His love. The alienation marks the beginning of His plan of salvation for humans beings.
