A humanistic perspective is a psychological approach that focuses on individuals and their ability to self-help and self-actualize. Rather than focusing on the dysfunction nature, the perspective believes that every individual is responsible for their happiness. If someone is unhappy or dissatisfied, they can self-actualize and change their lives for the better. In this perspective, cultural differences are considered as an alternative way to view life.
