Growing up, I have always wanted to be an accountant, as I believed companies will always value and promote individuals' good in mathematics. I worked hard in elementary school and even though I was good at mathematics, I always liked my things in order and that of my parents. Notably, my parents had labeled me as their custodian as I always kept a record of all their items.in addition, I enjoyed watching customers satisfied and gave positive reviews from my parent's restaurant. However, my parents as much as they made sufficient sales from the restaurant did not make sufficient profit and this made me look further into details of what I could do to improve the situation. Upon research, I realized my parents were making more food on daily basis in anticipation they will make more profits and engage with more customers, which was not the case. This enticed me to join a supply chain management career, which I will discuss in this paper.
Therefore, I decided to undertake a degree in supply chain management, in which I intend to further my studies. Using the achievable career goal metrics ( Karrera). Currently, I am working in a supply chain management department, in which I serve as a part-time employee. Here, I learned to work with a team, pay attention to details and data, and developed soft skills to negotiate with customers and suppliers in our firm.
