Write an 1000-1200 word Persuasive Essay. Take a position on the issue and support your position with evidence.You should use the same topic used for Essay 1 and 2.
The essay should include an introduction, a clear thesis that states your position on the issue, and three or more body paragraphs that support your position. Four credible sources must be used to support your thesis. At least two of these sources should come from the Barton Online Library Databases. The other two can be open web sources, but they must be credible. Do not use Wikipedia, About.com or student essay sites as sources.

The different Perspectives Concerning Online Courses
Today, the internet has become an integral component of life. It has considerably changed how people access information, interact, and learn across the world. In reality, it has created a global village where people can interact, communicate, transact, build relationships as well as research and take part in educational classes to mention a few. With a click of a button these days, a student can access large volumes of educational material, enroll in online courses, and distance learning courses. In 2017, for example, in 19.7 million students who registered in courses at degree-granting institutions, 6.6 million were online scholars (Distance learning statistics, np). Despite the myriad advantages associated with online classes, these programs promote social isolation, limit student feedback, are limited to specific disciplines, encourages cheating, and are only useful to learners with self-motivation and time management. Therefore, these learning programs should be blended with traditional classroom learning or be discouraged.
The prevalence of online classes has been on the rise across the world, especially in the global pandemic of COVID-19. However, online courses do not offer students face-face feedback. In physical classrooms, learners have access to immediate feedback (Anna, 200). Scholars with difficulties in learning can resolve them immediately and directly in the school or during dedicated office hours. Research shows that modified feedback makes learning processes happy, stress-free, and more engaging hence improving students’ motivation (Stewart, 105). On the contrary, students enrolled in online classes often face dissatisfaction due to lack of personalized responses. In reality, online courses have restricted timeframes that do not permit better student-teacher relationships (Berk, 140). Typically, the traditional methods of responding to students are inadequate in the E-learning environment. As such, teachers struggle to find alternative strategies for providing feedback to learners. Thus unless evidence-based strategies are established to improve student feedback online classes, these programs will remain ineffective for learning.
On the other hand, online courses often make enrolled students face loneliness, contemplation, and lack of social interaction. In these classes, students and teachers spend more time on their computers, dashboards, and tutorials, which are frequently pre-recorded. Consequently, most teachers and students show signs of loneliness due to the minimal or lack of human interactions in their lives. Social separation combined with isolation leads to health and mental issues such as hypertension, anxiety, sensitive stress, decreased self-esteem, and in severe cases, leading to reduced lifespan (Ogden, 10). Therefore, there is need to monitor students and teachers for signs of social isolation and exploit mixed learning environments.
