The movie titled Soya Cuba or I am Cuba by Mikhail Kalatozov shows the best example of Socialist Realism shown in different scenes in the movie. First, it shows the suffering that Cuba experiences during the Yankee imperialism. There is the scene where drunken American sailors are depicted chasing women on the streets. Following is the scene of the story of a hardworking farmer whose home and the United Fruit Co grabs lands. Instead of surrendering is his cane field, he sets them ablaze.
