Diary Reflection
Recording one’s daily activities is not a pleasant way to spend your day, but it provides one with insights on how future activities and behaviors can be changed. In my case, the three days that I took the initiative to record how I spend my day provided me with insights how to change my work, personal and leisure activities as well as social relationships with other people, emotional and stress levels. Through this exercise I have realized that I roughly spend 30% of my day in leisure something that I never thought of since I spend much of my time doing personal activities. Moreover, this exercise has helped understand the concepts of time famine and deepening and their effect on my daily activities. From this time diary, I now believe that there will be free time when every activity is completed within the required time and it is easier to plan my day in order to know how much time I should take on certain activities so as to have free time.
The manner in which we spend our days determines our emotion and stress levels. Emotion has been defined as the conscious mental reaction...
