The question of money and happiness is as old as money is. The invention of money as a currency of value, in replace of barter and in kind forms of exchange, has, indeed, changed perception of value for good. The answer to whether money makes people happy or not is not, moreover, straightforward. The fleeting question of happiness is, indeed, a function in a diversity of factors spanning everything in people's life. To make matters clear, some examples and support for a a no-good-in-money argument are given. This short response aims, accordingly, to show agreement to Benjamin Franklin's statement on money and happiness and offer supporting examples.
