The question of happiness has been something weighing heavy on my mind for a while now. Are people responsible for their own happiness, or does it simply happen to them? This question has no simple answer; understanding happiness is quite a personal experience. Most people I know assume that happiness stems from material possessions and ultimately getting what they want. However, I believe that happiness is a mindset that people chose to be happy with what they have instead of what one has bringing them happiness.
