Everyman
Play plays a critical role in analyzing a society. Everyman is a play that centers its scenes and actions regarding a life of a person in a given society. Its audience is medieval, and it teaches that every man must face his death alone whether the person is doing good under the sun or not. It is essential to analyze the play in terms of how it brings out different themes, characters, symbols that are working together to make the play bring forth the message of Everyman.
Everyman's play portrays a theme of morality. The play is acted in a Christian setup where most values are borrowed from a Christian society (Walker 78). It is a play acted by Roman Catholics. It relays the message that unless one does good while still on the earth, then he/she will not enter heaven upon his or her death. Similarly, there is substantiates that such a person has no value that he or she has left behind. It is moral to do good while still living on the earth.
Forgiveness is the sure way of entering heaven. The play acts that when Everyone sees Confession takes action and punishes himself with regrates.
