Bike Sharing Make Peoples Life More Convenient
The bicycle-sharing systems (BSS) have become popular, especially, in major cities and there are various reasons behind this including environmental friendliness, flexibility, being cool, being good for health, time saving and even uniqueness. The daily travel decisions partly depend on the flexibility, cost and availability of the travel options, and the bike sharing system is one of the ideas that are increasingly popular. There has been growing support for sustainable transportation infrastructures and the bike sharing schemes is just one of the options available. Faghih-Imani and Eluru authors of “Analysing bicycle-sharing system user destination choice preferences: Chicago’s Divvy system “ focus on what influences preference for bike-sharing life as an alternative mode of transport using a model. The presence of an efficient BSS infrastructure network influence the choice to use bike sharing as this was a convenient way to go to various destinations in Chicago.
Miller, Sánchez-Martínez and Nassir indicated that Access to crowding data and predictive techniques are useful to determine how to schedule the public transit system and improve efficiency. Concerns for passenger safety performance and overcrowding in the public transit, influences decisions to choose their preferred transportation system There is greater need to create a safer environment at a time when the public transport system is congested than ever before, but the bike sharing and public transit are preferred by those influenced by time and cost, but there are differences in the comfort features of the two systems. However, the artcle “Analysing bicycle-sharing system user destination choice preferences: Chicago’s Divvy system” was better as there was more emphasis on how the Bike sharing system is a sustainable solution to the problem of urban transport in today's congested metropolises, but requ...
