The bicycle-sharing systems (BSS) have become popular, especially, in major cities and there are various reasons behind this including environmental friendliness, flexibility, being cool, being good for health, time saving and even uniqueness. The daily travel decisions partly depend on the flexibility, cost and availability of the travel options, and the bike sharing system is one of the ideas that are increasingly popular. There has been growing support for sustainable transportation infrastructures and the bike sharing schemes is just one of the options available. Faghih-Imani and Eluru authors of “Analysing bicycle-sharing system user destination choice preferences: Chicago’s Divvy system “ focus on what influences preference for bike-sharing life as an alternative mode of transport using a model.
