First, it is crucial to remember that history can repeat itself, such that we can unexpectedly experience a historical event, like a pandemic or a terrorist attack. Furthermore, people should remember that rapid social changes and uncertainties during major events like presidential elections could cause adverse effects in a country, thus the need for accepting the outcomes, transparency, and finality (Mintz). Additionally, people and leaders must remember to act morally, think critically, communicate effectively, reason logically, have a collaborative response, advanced decision-making, organizational, and analytical qualities, and be accountable and responsible in their trusted roles to manage issues like pandemics, wars, and terror attacks (Mintz; Norwich University).
