Integrity is essential if one wishes and likes to develop trust in academic, personal, and professional settings. The aspects of academic integrity include courage, honesty, responsibility, respect, and fairness (Graduate Connections, 2014). A student should show respect to opinions and ideas of the other classmates during a discussion; this helps to boost confidence among students, which fosters integrity. Also, a student should be honest with his/her teachers/lecturers as well as their classmates. By this, the students will not plagiarize and cheat on the work given by their instructors.
