The Importance of Following Orders
One must listen and take the importance of what they are doing and learning in their life so as to be successful in any accomplishments or career. This statement is significant to both civilian and military life. The art of following orders is necessary in almost every institution but more in the military in particular. While it is very normal for an individual to question the need for obedience in everyday life, that luxury is not afforded in the military grounds. The term order means the commands that are given by superiors to the other members who are expected to follow them without disobedience or thinking twice. When a member of the military receives an order, he/she has to oblige because different aspects are depending on the orders.
Evidently, there are many reasons as to why it is important for a soldier to follow the orders that they are given because each and every one of those orders is at any circumstance very important. Obedience is generally what allows the military to have a smooth and organized operation while disobedience is taken as an offense and a person might be charged according to article 15. Notably, obedience and respect are of great importance to the army for they help the military maintain their structure and carry out their operations confidently.
The essence of military service is generally obedience as it is seen in the degree at which it is safeguarded through intolerance and strict laws to disrespectful and disobedience. Notably, the more serious the circumstances of when the disobedience occurs the more likely that the punishment is going to be more damaging and harsher to the physical. During the war, disobedience of orders can lead to the maximum penalty and if the soldier does not get executed, they might get imprisoned or a loss of salary permanently.
Orders are important because they help the soldier have a maintained balance between their military order and their normal lives, the expectations of the society and freedom. This does not certainly mean that a soldier should follow any order just blindly. As a soldier, one should know and be able to obey only the orders that are legal. These orders are measured by the following terms: the common order being that it is clear it is a legal order that affirms the need of obeying that for the soldier. Notably, illegal orders include, the work of covering up a crime which a soldier is forcefully asked to disobey. The army is very serious in the cases of disobedience which are rigidly tackled.
