The company offers Vhumans as its main product. First, Aww Inc. creates virtual humans that are designed to look and sound like real people. These digital humans can be used for a variety of applications, including customer service, entertainment, and education. For example, Aww Inc. created its first virtual human “Imma,” as a tall captivating model with a perfect complexion as one of the 200 virtual influencers in the world. As of November 2022, Imma had been verified on Instagram and had amassed a following of more than 400,000 (Feiler, 2022). In addition to Imma, the company has launched other virtual humans such as Ria, Plusticboy, and Asu who have been instrumental in enabling the company to offer advertising services for various brands. Virtual humans are also marketed to gaming companies.
In addition, the company has a team of experts that are involved in the creation of computer-generated imagery (CG) that is mainly used in the entertainment industry. Aww, Inc. is also a major player in the production of visual effects (VFX) that enables movie producers to achieve realistic scenes following the combination of the footage that they capture with CGI (Aww, Inc., 2022). To this end, the company has an Animation Café team that is composed of heavily talented animators.
Aww Inc. was established in 2019 by Takayuki Moriya and Koichi Kishimoto. Other members of the management team include Yumi King and Shinichiro Sada (Aww, Inc., 2022). The company has a market capitalization of ¥102,000,000 or approximately USD 779,357.71 (Aww Inc., 2022). The mission of the company is to produce new concepts that are intended to shape modern culture. To this end, the company hopes to continually produce products that evoke imagination in individuals and society.
