Human resource practitioners hold significant responsibilities that enable an organisation to be successful. These individuals facilitate the proper distribution of resources to ensure that a firm is operating smoothly. They develop and implement the best recruitment process to have highly skilled and talented employees. Additionally, human resource practitioners introduce various strategies to motivate existing employees and retain them for an extended period. They act as strategic partners in a firm that participates in the planning and development of corporate objectives. Moreover, they provide workers with assistance in their careers, recruit potential and talented candidates, serve as change leaders, eliminate cyberbullying at the workplace, and uphold high ethical values.
The Australian Human Resources Institute (AHRI) is an association that brings more than 20,000 human resources practitioners together. Indeed, it educates, trains, organizes conferences, and facilitates human resource management in an organisation. AHRI released a "Model of Excellence" that shows seven essential capabilities for human resource practitioners. The paper focuses on the three primary capabilities, namely strategic architect, workforce and workplace designer, and culture and change leader, that would enable human resource practitioners to be the best in an organisation.
