H. H Richardson’s architectural work differs from that of his ancestors in very many different ways. He came to a point where he is surrounded by granite works which came to distract his works. He was too much into the granite building and the modern structures than the old technology structures he had rediscovered while learning. The Richardson work was more of metal work and bricks. Richardson was using the Beaux-arts which came to be very different from that of his predecessors. The predecessors used the old technology regarding styles, material, and forms. Richardson cares about the Romanesque style while his predecessors came up with new ways of building towers with different decorations.
