War conceived out of particularistic identities causes’ urban violence, conflict and geopolitical violence, which have varying effects and impacts on buildings, institutions and infrastructure developments. That is no exemption to the Architecture city in the Middle West. Kosovo's ravaging wars caused the wide-scale destruction of the famous landmark sites constructed and retained by the Kosovan culture's aesthetics and cultural heritage. This marked the beginning of prolonged severe wars characterized by the entanglement between cultural and political differences that led to the massive destruction of Kosovo's historic architecture. The uprising of the particular identities that sprung over the Serbian region led to wide-scale destruction of the rich heritage due to discourse and lack of recognition for the Kosovans architectural heritage. This has led to the catastrophic destruction of Kosovo's heritage during the 1998-1999 conflict. Monumental pieces that have survived medieval times and the twentieth-century products were brought down to ashes. For decades, the Balkans and the Middle East's Cities have been used as the home ground for terrorism and geopolitical wars that have created a bad image for the cities. These cities have become the center stage of urban violence and conflict.
