The Healthcare system plays a central role in ensuring quality care is delivered to patients. However, with an increase in infectious diseases and chronic illness, the healthcare system’s process of provision of quality health has been put at stake. In this vein, mass notification system notification has come in handy to streamline healthcare processes. Developing a robust mass notification system is dependent on several key attributes. First, it is crucial to design a notification system that involves mappings (Perri-Moore et al., 2016). This feature can be achieved by understanding the characteristics of the data, for example, the type of data that describes a patient. Further, it is also imperative to understand the communication channels that would make the delivery of the messages a success. According to Perri-Moore et al. (2016), main communication channels include cell phones, email, web-based applications, and electronic medical record-linked mailing.
Noteworthy, it is imperative to ensure the notification systems are kind in a manner that does not interrupt healthcare professionals’ tasks unless the interruption bears much significance that necessitates a physician’s attention. Serral, Valderas, and Derboven (2020) propose a DELICATE approach framework that is ideal in achieving kind notifications because it selects proper communication resources and delivers notifications efficiently, as elaborated in figure 1 below. Developing a mass notification system demands collaboration beyond healthcare professionals. As such, it is crucial to adhere to regulations such as the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) and the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) that dictate the process of sending notifications (Pelfrey, 2021). Imperatively, towers and satellites must be functioning correctly. Other data such as two-way communication, geofencing, and enterprise-grade security are crucial when developing a mass healthcare notification system.

Process of Gathering Data
Firstly, researchers will contact one representative from the Information Technology Department Office to provide health care data for the healthcare industry. In this case, issues related to communication in the healthcare sector will be established. Noteworthy, surveys and questionnaires will be used to collect views about healthcare professionals’ and patients’ perceptions of better communication in a healthcare setting.
