In software development, the software client might keep changing the requirements to meet new demands. There are varied reasons why clients might come up with new demands that they need to be integrated in the new software and the development team has to feature them in the final version to be delivered to the client. In some cases, the client organizational structure might change thus forcing the contracted developing team to add new features to mirror the change. Technology advances very fast and therefore the team might be caught up by technological advancements. Some projects have to be redesigned to feature the technological advancements. If the technological advances are not developed to catch up with new breakthroughs in technology, the application's shelf life and usability is shortened.
