During the first week of my internship, I did a lot to ensure that I had done my best as an intern by putting into use the skills that I had acquired during school. One of the first things that I did was working with a counsellor who would guide me in all the activities that I was carrying out at the facility. I can also say that during my first week, the activities that I carried out as an intern were more focused towards the clients.
I had one on one interactions with the clients where I would talk to them about various aspects and the services that were offered at the facility. I did most of the paperwork at the facility where I would help the clients to fill the various forms. I also did the work of copying the documents of the client and taking them around the various facilities that they needed. For instance, I would take the patients to the lab where their urine would be tested. I also explained to them the various services that we offered at the lab.
