As America struggles to return to normalcy, there is a particular concern that a significant percentage of the population is missing their prescribed second Covid-19 vaccine doses. There were arguments that the situation that would involve cutting was already predictable (Maxouris, Andone & Fox, April 25, 2021). After reports went viral regarding the upshot of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine administration, the company could not afford to hold its voice rather than reacting; it blamed its rivals, Moderna and Pfizer (Cohen, April 19, 2021). Consequently, Dr. Fauci, the president's medical advisor, commented that J & J Covid-19 vaccine could only resume its usage in the market under warnings or restrictions (Thomas, April 18, 2021). However, such cases intrude at a time when the world economy was declining due to the pandemic. However, scientists are giving the world a solid ground for hope as they devote themselves to research for the best results.
Mr. Gonsalves, St. Vincent P.M, gave an early alert to the residents that there could be eruptions. The islanders' administration asked for help, putting plans in place by requesting cruise ships for evacuation (Arias, Stepleton & Almasy, April 9, 2021). Luckily, the cruise lines agreed to offer support by releasing them from harm. Due to volcanic eruptions, there was a power blackout and unavailability of water (Oppman & Dominguez, April 11, 2021). Volcanic debris endured falling, thus causing increased fear. There were reports that the tremors could prolong more than expected. St. Vincent last experienced the so-called La Soufriere volcano last about 42 years ago; many concerns arose among the residents of the affected island (Oppmann, April 24, 2021). The government advised citizens to escape from the red zone; though there were no fatalities, approximately 7 000 inhabitants of the red area ultimately became asylum seekers.
It seems to be a universal concern to both residing in India and abroad as the Covid-19 takes another course (O’Brien, April 28, 2021). Some rich Indian-Americans feel concerned and show a willingness to help their motherland. As Indians battle with the Covid-19 crisis, leaving them with oxygen shortage. Walmart visualizes helping the nation by setting up vaccine clinics and donating about 500 oxygen cylinders and 3 000 oxygen concentrators (Kavilanz, April 2021). The virus created a catastrophic situation in the Indian healthcare structure. The country had gone under lockdown initially, which halt the Indian economy (Kavilanz, April 2021). Some argue that with the economy going down, there might be tremendous effects; loss of jobs being one of the implications.
Coronavirus never influenced a positive shift on climate change, quite unfortunate. There were expectations of seeing levels of greenhouse gases falling to significant levels, but it never did so (Kottasova, November 23, 2020).
