Theories play a significant role in the various approach to inquiry. For example, in quantitative research, theories offer a projected explanation for the relationship between tested variables. In qualitative research, theories function as lenses for inquiring, while in mixed methods studies, researchers use them in several ways, such as those linked with qualitative and quantitative approaches. Several theories vary depending on their breadth of coverage. One of the essential theories that I have learned that resonate similarly with me is the theory of social learning theory.
