2-2The basic philosophical difference among the neoanalytic writers is either they are objective positivist thinkers or relativist or constructivist writers. The philosophical difference among the two categories is what differentiates them further. The objective positivist thinkers believe that there is an existence of objective reality and they try to discover this reality. The reality can be explored independently by the inquirer and will reach at the same conclusions as those who were also inquiring it independently. Whereas the relativist or constructive thinkers believe that absolute truth is not in existence and if there is it depends on some context (reality depends on an individual) (Rorty, 1991).
