Free discourse and embracing the freedom of expression is a lead factor to embracing democracy and intellectual progress. The ability of every individual to freely express themselves is overly a remarkable state of citizen sovereignty (Mill, 2018). John Stewart Mill eluded this argument by expressing the need to embrace minority speeches since they are mostly right, and their argument is considered sound to the majority of the speeches.
