NYAEYC'S Code of Ethical Standards
The primary role of the NYAEYC's Code of Ethical Standards is to ensure that teachers, parents, and students advocate and apply principles, ideals, and core values in decision-making (NAEYC, 2011). Notably, the most vital segment of this code is to protect the welfare of children. Through this, children can develop and grow in a sustainable environment if these ethical standards are in practice. In addition, under these standards, professionals can discover the best methods of ensuring the utmost care during childhood development. NYAEYC's Code of Ethical Standards has four structures of professional responsibilities to society and community, colleagues, families, and children (NAEYC, 2011). Colleagues should interact professionally, ensuring respect, dignity, cooperation, and care to enhance childhood development needs. Professionals should link with families to educate them about their role in childhood responsibilities. This instance shall ensure enhanced collaboration, cooperation, and communication regarding early childhood programs, improving children's development.
