MBTI is the usage of personality tests. These tests comprise of 100 questions. Personality types are classified using four categorical pairs, otherwise known as dichotomies, viz, E/S, S/N, T/F, and J/P. E-I (Extroversion and Introversion) focuses on attitudes. Extroverts operate in the external world, drawing energy from actions. Conversely, introverts interact with abstract world rejuvenating energy from ideas and reflection (Emre, 2018). S-N (Sensing and Intuition) describes information gathering functions. Individuals with recent preference embrace data that is concrete, while the latter tend to believe general information provided it can be collated with other data. They respond to flashes of perception and can comprehend patterns (Emre, 2018). T-F (Thinking and Feeling) explains the intervention function. Thinking people are more detached and logical while Feeling individuals are indifferent and empathize. Lastly, J-P (Judgment and Perception) uses the judging role.
