IPV or Intimate Partner Violence can happen to anyone regardless of their sexual orientation, gender identity, or expression. LGBTQ individuals may be at a higher risk for experiencing IPV due to stigma, discrimination, and other factors such as social isolation, lack of legal protection, and lack of access to healthcare.
