The practice of religion across the world is highly dynamic and fluid. The U.S religious landscape is undergoing a progressive transformation. The U.S is one the most culturally diverse society marked by substantial population heterogeneity involving ethnic origins, race, and culture. Thus, it is not surprising to notice dynamics and paradigm shifts in religious practices and beliefs.
The U.S is manifesting specific trends in religious practices, which intersects with race, age, politics, immigration, and secularism. According to The Religious Studies Project (2019) showed that Public Religion Research Institute survey findings indicated that White Christians now accounted for fewer than half of the public, white evangelical Protestants were in decline, non-Christian religious groups are growing, and atheists and agnostics account for a minority of all religiously unaffiliated groups. These findings are collaborated by Pew Research Center's Religion & Public Life Project (2015), who observed a declining number of Christian followers, especially among young adults, increasing the population of U.S adults who are not affiliated to any religion.
