Unions are very good because they assist employees to improve their working conditions. These unions are good because they assist workers to solve problems and improve their workplace. Today, workers have the freedom to join unions and negotiate with their employers. In the United States, there are more than 16 million employees who are represented by unions. Although unions are good, the membership of these unions have continued to decline because the composition of jobs in the U.S is changing (Rosenfeld, (2014). Some jobs like hospitality and healthcare jobs do not have high unionization rates.
