The private sector comprises a portion of the economy, managed, controlled, and owned by organizations and persons pursuing returns. Corporations in the sector are frequently unrestricted from national control or ownership. This private sector can occasionally cooperate with the state in a public-private conglomerate to deliver business ventures or services to the public. The U.S. Department of Homeland Security and its homeland safety mission are born from Americans' promise and resolution across the United States in the dawn of the attacks on 11th September. Those dimmest hours, true heroism was seen, selflessness, and combined resolve against crime. People did join hands for our shared defense, and people vowed to remain unified against the intimidations confronting our great country, lives, and American citizens. United, we are dedicated to persistent resilience, determined to avoid future assaults against the United States, reacting assertively to manmade and natural disasters, and progressing American economic and prosperity safety the days ahead (Byman, 2019). Since the 11th September assaults, it has been long; the DHS has gathered this shared vision to deal with emerging and new threats. To be successful, the DHS is introducing a "culture of persistent resilience" through the U.S to toughen security for the intimidations from a distance, endure attacks, and quickly recover. As part of the new strategy by the DHS to stand up for defense and upgrade the security of the United States, the private sector and its employees also have an impact on the DHS goals of fiscal year2020-2024. The fiscal year 2020-2020 plans are in the following order, Counterterrorism and homeland security threats,-Securing U.S. borders and approaches, Secure cyberspace and critical infrastructure, Preserve and uphold the nation's prosperity and economic security, and strengthening preparedness and resilience(Wright,2020). Having an eye into the future, different sectors like the government, organizations, public and private sectors have their own set missions, targets, and goals. For all the sectors to thrive at what they do daily, there is a need to have a stable, secure country or environment. Thus, the DHS has a set of goals that they believe would achieve security stability is attained. The private sector can play a role in achieving some of the DHS's goals to achieve security stability caused by the terrorist in the United States of America.
