As discussed earlier, the Yukimura game is a game that tells a story about the precedencies of the Osaka Castle and the aftermath of that war. Cultural diversification is portrayed throughout the game, and the characters and play experience are phenomenal. The siege of Osaka is a reflection of Japanese leadership and culture, and it was a battle between the Toyotomi and Tokugawa clans. The war was quite devastating since it led to the destruction of these clans to entirety. Moreover, the game takes about 350 mins, and it involves two characters representing the period that the Osaka siege took (12 months). What is the primary story behind the Yukimura game? A Japanese clan leader Toyotomi died in 1958, Tokugawa clan to the most extensive parts in terms of leadership.
The game gives a history of leadership in the Japanese council of elders, which Toyotomi ruled before Ieyasu seized it in 1600. Immediately after the seizure, the Tokugawa clan was formed, and other clans were pushed-off the Osaka castle (Hubbard, 2016).
Furthermore, the game also introduces the players to the first incidence of culture. for example, the marriage between Hideyori and Senhime was used to bring the two clans together, especially after the seizure in 1600. For instance, the influence of women in leadership, Yodo-dono helps his son become the clan leader. Unfortunately, after the rebuilding of temples destroyed during the 1600 seizure, an alarming text was engraved. "Toyotomi force will rise again" are the statements that led to the Osaka castle war. In 1615, Leyasu planned the bombing of the Osaka castle, but unfortunately, there was Yukimura, the war hero (Hubbard, 2016). The playing sheets present soldiers and the terrain during the Osaka siege.
