Introduction:

This assignment is in four (4) parts. The exercises are taken from PSC Chapter 6, “Identifying Alternatives” and Chapter 7 “Evaluating Alternatives”. However, Students should remember that possible PDS and POP influences what drives your consideration of responses.  

Assignment Instruction:

Do these the following 4 Exercises:

Follow the text instructions for each of these exercises. Your responses to each exercise should be focused, concise, precise and complete. Long developed responses ARE NOT required or desired. Make sure you address each exercise question presented. Not more and not less. If you must make assumptions to answer the question, be sure to identify each assumption and the rational for making each.  

NOTE 1:  This is a creative exercise that requires critical thinking.  Consider creative ways to present your work. DO NOT write long complex or rambling narratives. Be concise, precise and focused.  Put the key points in your own words. Demonstrate your knowledge of all the aspects of a solid problem definition statement (PDS). Present data creatively. Be well organized.

Note 2: There are a possible 200 points for this Assignment.

2.      Length: There is no specific word count or page limit applicable to the exercise, other than to be concise, focused, precise and complete. Be creative in your presentation to cut down on unnecessary narratives and to provide for more concise and impactful presentations.  Three (3) pages should be sufficient.    

3.     Don’t wait until the last minute to do the assignment. No late submissions will be accepted or graded and are scored as zero. No Exceptions. 

4.      Submit via Blackboard only. If for some reason you are not sure if the paper uploaded correctly, send me a copy by email.
