Asian Americans are one of the pan-ethnic groups in the United States. The group consists of people with ancestral origins in South East Asia, East Asia, and South Asia. The group should advocate for legal, social, and political issues that can improve their lives in the country.
Legal Issues
Asian Americans encounter heightened discrimination in the United States. Therefore, it would be important to advocate for the enactment of regulations to improve their lives. Consequently, it would be plausible to challenge all the institutional forces that influence the maintenance of their status quo as a minority group. Notably, the enactment of inclusion laws would be an effective strategy of promoting civil rights meant for improving racial relations in the United States. Arguably, the inclusion of Asian Americans would be an effective mechanism of widening racial dynamics and national dialogue. If human rights activists would advocate for the enactment of anti-discriminatory policies, the Asian Americans would enjoy equal privileges to the majority races across the United States.
