The Fourteenth Amendment of the American Constitution provides for equality of all citizens. The law requires that all people should be treated equally regardless of their race or ethnic belonging. Individuals who are found have violated this law are prosecuted under the law. Consequently, people who receive any form of mistreatment, in form of racial discrimination and any form of injustice against them, are expected to report such matters to court or nearest police department so that the appropriate action can be taken after investigation. Therefore, this law protects each person against any form of discrimination. The law also requires that such victims are compensated and protected by the law against any form of injustice while in the country.
