8-1 What is a resume? What is its importance in obtaining a professional clinical position? Are you satisfied with yours? Why or why not?
A resume is a document that contains an individual’s skills, qualifications as well as background. It is an important tool in obtaining a professional clinical position as it markets a person based on his or her academic level, personal skills and all the activities done by the person towards attaining certain goals. In my case, I am satisfied with my resume because it has provided the relevant information about me, especially my work experience and qualifications. I believe this bit of information will be quite helpful in marketing my abilities. Perhaps what I just need to add onto it is the references portion, which I can at any time, especially upon request.
