The termination stage is essential because it can enhance the degree to which the clients achieve his or her objectives. Further, it ensures that there is a continuation of the changes achieved. Certain issues must be discussed with the client in detail before termination. First, there is a need to assess and evaluate if the goals have been achieved. In this case, the discussion must occur between all members of Mr. Yeo's family. The issue to be addressed is whether the hostile relationship with the daughter in law has been resolved or further assistance is needed. Another important area for discussion is the time-frame needed to assist the relationship. Both members of the family must come together and develop incentives for resolving the conflicts within the family. Considering the family's challenges, this is important because it builds a mutual understanding between all the family members.
