Paul's Letter to the Philippians is in Various Versions
In this study, there are three different translations of Paul's letter to the Philippians: The New King James Version, the Good News Translation, and the New International Version. Although these translations have the same message about the humility of Jesus Christ, the writing styles vary. The New King James Version has a more complex narration compared to the Good News Translation and the New International Version. However, even though the Good News Translation is a bit similar to the New International Version, its writing style offers an easily understandable flow of thought and narration. The Good News Translation is the easiest of the three translations, therefore, making reading easy and fun. Even though Paul's letter to the Philippians is in various versions, the message of encouragement resonates with all.
My Response to Paul
Dear Paul, I am a member of the church in Philippi. I trust you received the gift from your faithful church. Thank you for your letter and your encouraging words. I have now become more hopeful than ever. I want to guarantee you your church’s full support in upholding your teachings, and we shall hold steadfast your guidance. We, the faithful, are grateful. First, I would like to send you my heartfelt sorrows for you. I am aware of your current situation, and I am sorry you have been subjected to such burdening and demining conditions. I thank you for, despite your current situation, for you have found time to reach out to your church. We are encouraged by your strength and your faith because even though you are going through oppressing conditions, you are still spreading our Lord’s teachings and encouraging us never to feel hopeless and burdened, for He is with us. You have restored and strengthened faith in many followers by your reassurance that our Lord, Jesus Christ, will never forsake us. Your faith in Jesus Christ gives us hope for a better day if we follow in thy steps.
Your expectation of deliverance will not be in vain. Your church remembers you in their prayers, and all will be well, dear Apostle. Your teachings did not fall on deaf ears, we have prayed for you for many moons, and we will always remember you in our prayers. Just as you guided us, we shall not fail you, our dear Apostle. The way you showed love, mercy, and tenderness towards your church, the church will not tire of doing good. We stand steadfast with you in the spirit as we strive to attain humility, faith, and love from the Holy Spirit. Your church tries to be confident and stay faithful in our Lord Jesus Christ as we face adversaries and tribulations from this evil world. We may be worried, but we do not lose sight of our goals, and through your teachings, we know that our Lord Jesus Christ will always be present, guiding us and protecting us.
Dear Apostle, your church has received your warning. We know you do not tire of enlightening your church. We will heed your teachings and heed your warning.
