As for the observation from the text, we notice a man who was walking and fell in the middle of brigands who seriously aggressed him, leaving him almost dead. A priest and a Levite, known for their status of embodying power, love, and compassion, saw him and did not attempt to help. We should notice how they even passed to the other side from where he was left. A Samaritan passed by and took pity on the suffering man, lavishing him all the necessary care to return to life (Chalmers, 2020). Jesus, in telling the parable, asked which of the three who saw the man suffer could be considered his neighbor.
