I learned self-actualization, self-esteem, and psychological needs in both chapters. Self-actualization is the need to discover an individual’s potential, self-fulfillment, personal growth, and peak experience. Notably, self-actualization matters to me as it reminds me I can accomplish anything that I want to become and be the best I can be. For example, I desire to be an entrepreneur in real estate. I have potential and passion for sales and marketing and thrive in management, making me a successful entrepreneur. Also, I am competent and confident; I always feel the need to be respected and respect others. Thus, my self-esteem and self-worth motivate me to work hard and relate with others. Finally, psychological needs are intrinsic desires that need to be fulfilled without interference with external factors. For instance, I plan to have a family in the future and thrive in business.
