Persuasion- A Cognitive And Behavioral Approach

Chapter 13 pages 431-434 pertain to Persuasion. (I have attached ch 13, almost ill reference the book when you send me the paper. I only need one reference from you.)
Using the information in the textbook, and an outside source choose 2 persuasive techniques and write a brief description of a time when you were influenced by these persuasive techniques.
How do you feel you were persuaded?
Do you think the other party knew they were employing these techniques?
Was it a negative or positive overall experience?
Example: I travel to Las Vegas frequently. My first trip to Las Vegas I was caught in a Bait and Switch.
They offered me FREE show tickets if I would talk to them in the afternoon for about 30 minutes.
Once I got the appointment, I was informed that I would be getting on a bus and traveling to another location to view their properties.
At this point, I was committed. After FOUR hours of their trying to sell me a timeshare, I was finally free.
Everything about their business is bait and switch. As soon as they make an offer that you accept, they add in other things that you did not agree to. This is very common practice in these types of businesses.
