The research topic is retention in human resource management. Addressing this topic will follow the draft research question that states; what is the role of human resource management in enhancing employee retention within organizations? The research intends to explore variables that can help organizations to enhance their capacity to retain a talented workforce. The investigation will entail gathering data from both secondary and primary sources to increase the credibility and reliability of the findings. The study will take employee retention as the dependent variable because researchers have identified that this organizational aspect is affected by various aspects within an organization (Azeez, 2017; Bai & Bhutto, 2016; Francis, 2014). These aspects will be upheld as the independent variables. They include:
Supervisor support. The role of supervisors can affect the decision of an individual to continue working within the organization or leave.
Work environment. A comfortable working environment contributes to the decision making of an individual to stay in an organization.
