According to the Serenity (2022) article, there is a high cost an organization has to pay in the case of hiring the wrong employee.  Poor performance and high employee turnover are prevalent in such cases. Consequently, when various organizations use technology to streamline their recruitment, not only are the right candidates hired but the cost associated with bad hiring is reduced. The recruitment process involves all the steps taken, from identifying employees to being hired to work with an organization (Hamza, 2021). As a result, the process can be costly, and if not done correctly, it can lead to poor organizational performance. Hence, as the article portrays, various industries need to embrace recruitment technology strategies.
The first industry that has adopted the use of technology is nursing. Travelling nursing recruitment has become one of the most widely embraced methods of recruiting the right candidate to work in organizations (Serenity, 2022). The employer and the employee are both required to provide various pieces of information, such as their qualifications, the description of their job, and the period during which they would be working for a given organization. Through this, the right candidate can apply for a job and be hired to fill the right position. Another industry that has embraced the use of technology in the recruitment process is the data analysis industry. According to the article, it is important to find the right candidates to fill the data analysis role in an organization (Serenity, 2022). As a result, organizations involved with data analysis are adopting technology that makes the application and even selection of the right candidates easy and efficient. Some of the technology adopted includes the use of video conferencing and mobile-friendly application platforms.
