There are three models/types of organizations in Project management and organizational structures. These are the functional, projectized, and matrix/hybrid models. In each model, the project manager has a different role and is referred to by a different term. In the functional project management model, the role of the project manager is carried out by a member from a specific functional area (Chung, 2018).
