One of the main obstacles faced by organizations that have ventured into new areas is cultural diversity. Cultures vary from regions to another and when an organization ventures into new areas they are confounded by diverse cultural values that force them to either adapt or risk affecting their business operations adversely. Training people from a new community needs an understanding of their culture, and the company has to revise and redesign the training program to ensure it integrates seamlessly with the company culture. Secondly, the legal framework in many countries and regions contrast greatly and companies. They might encounter new labor rules which force the company to revise its policies. The labor rules stipulate the terms of training which might be against the company's policies.
