CREATING A CULTURE OF INNOVATION AND CREATIVITY
1 Define corporate culture and how to create a culture of trust and integrity.
According to Gorton, Grennan & Zentefis (2021), corporate culture refers to behaviors and values that ascertain how an organization's employees and management handle external business operations and interact. In most cases, corporate culture is developed from the traits of employees a company hires. Notably, corporate culture can also be defined as the way things are done in an organization. It is important to note that corporate culture is reflected in employee turnover, client satisfaction, employee benefits, dress code, and how clients are treated.

It is imperative to ensure employees feel valued in a company such that when they have an idea that could help, they will feel free to share. This is where creativity is nurtured, especially if they are allowed to implement the idea.
3 Describe the steps a leader may take to be a contributor to a culture of creativity and innovation.
Maurer & London (2018) assert that leaders should employ people with the right skill set and mindsets to create and cultivate a creative culture in the workplace. Rather than checking their resumes only, it is also important to check the mindset of employees. Consequently, leaders should always encourage team members to broaden their skills. A creative team needs to feel empowered and have the freedom to use their problems solving skills to do their work.
