The previous researches about the rate of infant mortality in the US compared to the international level have not fully provided sufficient information on the topic. Therefore, the study focuses on the topic to give enough details that will enable the nation to control its level of the neonatal morbidity. Specifically, this assignment describes the various methods that will be used and the relationships between the variables, hypothesis that will be stated, and the justification of the study.
Concepts of the Conceptual Framework and their Relationships
The project will include neonatal morbidity rates as the independent variable because it will be the standard over which the other two dependent variables will be measured against. The dependent variables will be infant mobility in the US and the neonatal morbidity for the whole world. The information will be evaluated using various statistical analysis tools such as charts and tables to show clearly how the levels of morbidity compare for the two variables (Lewis, 2015). Hence, the relationships between the infant mortality rates for the two variables will be determined because the graphs that will be used in the evaluation will provide both trend and cross analysis.
The Hypothesis
The hypothesis that will be tested by the research is that ‘’The US neonatal morbidity rate does not exceed the infant mortality rate of the globe?’’ The statement is a null hypothesis that is considered negative and will only be approved or disapproved after obtaining the results from the study.
