Make a clear argument for the applicant having the appropriate skills, education, and experience for the role.
In Microsoft Word, create a report that identifies the most appropriate applicant for the human resource role in the ad below. The rationale should be 1-2 pages and include the following:
An assertive and persuasive statement naming the chosen candidate in a complete sentence or two so that the reader is prepared for the focus of the remainder of the report. Avoid phrases such as “I feel” or “In my opinion” as this choice is based on your analysis of the candidates and the open position.
A description of the relevant skills demonstrated by the applicant that clearly connects the applicant to the functional area and position.
A summary of the chosen applicant’s relevant experience/past roles showing upward mobility through the human resource hierarchy.
A list of human resource goals accomplished (e.g., decreased turnover, increased transfer of knowledge, provide specific data as applicable)
An explanation of why the candidate’s education/degrees are appropriate for the position.
A final assessment of any additional qualifications, awards, or certifications that qualify the applicant for the role.

The Position

Requirements
Four Year Degree in Human Resource Management
Operational knowledge of government agencies and military organizations
Proven ability to source, qualify, and hire successfully in a fast-paced environment
Eligible for security clearance
Ability to prioritize multiple high stakes projects simultaneously
Five years' experience in a human resources role preferably at least three of those in recruiting
The Candidates
Gina DiCaprio: Finished her AS degree in Business Administration two months ago, has been working as the assistant in an HR department at a large metropolitan hospital for thee years. Gina is an extrovert and is full of energy. She gets bored easily and is not afraid to try something new every dat. Gina's supervisor most appreciates her energy, enthusiasm, and ability to connect with anyone. She also appreciates Gina's innate ability to motivate her coworkers during challenging times and through tedious projects.
Shawn Walker: Earned his BS in Human Resource Management four years ago after leaving active duty in the US Army. Shawn was an HR generalist in the corporate office of a large theme park for two years, then transferred to talent acquisition for park security five years ago. He is quiet but friendly person who likes to focus on work at work. Shawn's supervisor most appreciates that loss due to theft dropped 12 percent as soon as Shawn's recruits began working security. He also likes his almost obsessive organization. He can create order in any situation.
Elizabeth Chan-Torres: Earned her BS in human resource management and organizational leadership 16 years ago and her MHRM eight years ago. She has held her SHRM-SCP for 10 years. Emily is an introvert who loves research and data. She started her human resource career doing payroll for a family owned business that was sold to an international organization. She continued working for the larger company and has travelled to offices in Spain, Mexico, and South Korea for human resource big data and budgeting projects because of her language skills. The VP of Human Resource Management most appreciates that Elizabeth needs no supervision. She is a self-starter, dependable, and capable.
