Everybody has a culture and beliefs he or she follows strictly. For example, Christians observe one day to worship God while the Muslims pray five times a day as part of their religious requirement. Some work environments demand strict adherence to their code of operations, while some people cannot let go of their cultural and religious calls for their professional demands. This can lead to a clash of interests that might lead to one facing disciplinary actions. However, the big issue is how leaders deal with cultural needs and ensure the affected employees deliver to the required standard. This essay assesses ABC corporation's cultural needs and how its leaders reacted to cultural and religious practices from Kareem, an employee. He was fired eight months after landing a job as a call center representative.
Employers need to consider cultural and religious needs while hiring workers. Human beings are superstitious and stick to religious and cultural demands more than they do to work rules.
