Pygmalion effect refers to a self-driven motivation whereby an individual develops thoughts of success towards a particular task and unconsciously puts the right effort to achieve it (Greenberg, J. 2011). Golem effect occurs when a person develop negative thoughts towards other people’s ability which leads to lack of trust in them and finally depreciating their efforts. These effects are applied at work places where seniors levels up or down their predictions towards performance of their employees.
